I’ve been working on Skull and Bones for the past 2 years as a Voice Designer. I’m really proud to have the Game finally released in November 2022
My main mandate on Skull and Bones is Systemic AI Voices.
Along the way i had several opportunity such as establishing guidelines, building pipelines to mentoring junior voice designers and leading the direction of voice features.
Another fun and challenging sound design practice.
I had so much fun trying to design, pace and "worldize" based off the aesthetics of the arcane.
Worked on this on & off for a couple of months whenever i’m not working. This was a really fun practice on timing, pacing, scale.
I remember watching this years back and i’ve decided to try my hand at redesigning the video over a week!
One day speed challenge that i decided to try out over Christmas!
Huge fan of Apex Legends, the sound design of everything in the game is so good. I had a blast (haha) redesigning my favourite shotgun in the game.
Did a fun little redesign of one of my favourite FPS' sniper rifles. I loved how it sounded in game as it was pretty identifiable in such a dense mix due to the textures chosen.
So i've decided to try my hands at it.
Spent a couple of hours in a day on this little sequence. I love the sound design in the original and wanted to go for something more clunky & mech-y
i have replaced all the sounds in the original bastion video with a mixture of library and sounds that have been resampled, synthesised, edit and processed by me.
This is my take on the ABC Artbreaks Ad.
I've taken the entire video, muted it and redid the sound based on my intepretation of the video. Foley, Sound Design, Music are all recorded, processed by myself.
i took the original video created by Josh Clos, Romain Faure, Cristina Barna and replaced all the sound by processing, sampling, synthsizing new stuff from scratch
When i first saw this, i remember being blown away by the mix and the amazing sound design. Therefore i tried my hands at it as a sound design exercise and boy this was a really tough one. Nowhere close to the original but this was super fun & helpful to me learning sound synthesis and sound design techniques.
